Dawn's armor extruded with a thought, and her sword flared into shocking pink existence, but once she realized it was friendly fire, she calmed down somewhat.

"Misfire!" she called out, her sword retracting. She knelt by the prisoner. "Hang in there. I got an erms - " She paused, then spelt the acronym out. "IRMSS, kit that'll patch you up. Just hold still. I ain't forgotten how you tried to kill us but I am not gonna let you bleed to death. You stay calm and it'll be over soon. My word as a cyberknight."

She went for the IRMSS, watching the prisoner carefully. "Deez, Marcus, can one of ya carefully take the gun off Alenys' hands? Alenys, I'll talk to ya in a sec."

Alenysturathe looked chagrined. “I’m--I’m sorry,” she said, dropping the pistol quickly. “It...it never does that in the vids!” She looked in shock at the gut wound on Kill Boy. A moment ago she would have gladly ripped him in half. Now she seemed a bit sick. “I can heal him.”

Stepping up, Alenys put her hands on Kill Boy and focuses.

After the initial shock, Killboy laid back and started giggling a bit. As Dawn started digging the IRMSS kit out of her backpack, Alenys stepped up and her psychic powers washed over the man and healed his wounds. Varg grunted "Yea remember I can barely walk right now? Just wondering when the healing comes my way..."

Killboy smiles at Alenys saying "My thanks child and think nothing of that little wake up call you gave me. All but a dream anyway right?" He then sits back and looks over the group and seem a bit out of it at first staring at the group and saying "Have you ever been too Willy Wanka's Chocolate Factory?"


GM: Killboy needs to make a 'Getting it Together' Smarts check: 1D6.OPEN(6) = [2] = 2; 1D6.OPEN(6) = [6, 3] = 9. With a raise he is at -2 to all his trait checks, etc. for minutes: 1D6 = [6] = 6

“Oh, sorry, Varg!” Alenysturathe said, going over to the injured Simvan. She put her hands over his wounds and focused. One of his major wounds closed and Alenys fell back, breathing a bit harder. “Stop getting hit so much!” she scolded him, though gave him a smile. “Let me try again.”

Once more, the dragon in human form put her hands on his injuries and called upon her inner strength. She sagged and shook her head, her red hair falling in her face. “Sorry,” she said. “That’s everything I have. I’ll have to try again later,” she apologized to Varg.

"Have you ever been too Willy Wanka's Chocolate Factory?" Kill Boy asked.

“No,” Alenys said, perking up. “But I love chocolate! Where is it at?” She looked to Dawn. “Can we stop on the way home?” she asked eagerly, almost bouncing in anticipation.

"No idea what kinda creature a williewonka is. Sounds like somethin' outta a rift. An' what's 'chocolate?' Never had that in the CS." Dawn nodded as Varg and the crazy were treated. "Aright. Now then, we gotta keep you tied up on account of you tryin' to kill us but we got no intention of lettin' you die. To that end: let's move out, we gotta meet up with the others lickety-split."
 


Varg thanks Alenys for the healing and gets up when Dawn wants to get moving. He is still not in good shape and can't move as fast as he normally can but he can walk on his own.

Heading out the group makes good time, with Killboy remaining fairly subdued. As dawn turns to day the party travel west for many hours. As the sun sinks towards the horizon they come upon the refugees near the Mississippi River, preparing to cross. They had been waiting for the group and Varg, for while 'Sparky' the fury-beetle had remained friendly it had not been willing to pull the jury-rig trailers and buses across the river without its master.

This takes a few hours and it is almost midnight by the time everyone has made it across the river and camps have been set up. Most of the refugees are asleep and the party exhausted as well...

GM: Varg did indeed have 3 wounds so Alenys healed him one point. Right now the party is all going to have 1 level of Fatigue if they do not rest for the night. If someone wants to stay up for Watch they need to make a Vigor roll to not take a 2nd level of Fatigue. IF you all sleep for the night you don't have any Fatigue. There are two Dog Boys here with the refugees whom can take watch IF you want them too...
 

OOC: I'll have Dawn take first watch with the dog boys. If Alenys wants to stay up with her she'll also give Alenys a quickie gun safety course. Then Deez and Marcus can take over, and let Varg heal up some. Does that sound good, and how do penalties work if we get some sleep but not a full night's?
