D&D 5E (2014) Saving Throw question

Hi,

Sorry if this has been answered before, but I couldn't find a clear answer. Do you succeed on a saving throw if you tie the DC (like checks) or do you have to beat it (like contests)?

Saves have a DC, which means they're like Checks.

I agree with the others: It is always AT or ABOVE the check or saving throw number. That is the number you need in order to SUCCEED at what you are trying to do.
