SCAP set in the Wilderlands of High Fantasy - What are the basics to tell my players?

I know of several posters on the Paizo boards that have skipped or heavily modified that chapter because it seemed really jarring and out of place with the adventures that had come before it.
I referenced the Paizo boards a lot when I was prepping Smoking Eye. Lots of good advice there and, yes, while many loved the adventure unto itself it seems that many thought it kind of stuck out like a sort thumb. Which is why it worked so well plonking it into the middle of the campaign. I wanted the players to go, "What the hell?" :)

I plan to foreshadow the TotSE a fair bit with dreams that the PC's have. That way when the get to that part of the AP it will seem strangely familiar.
I'm a big fan of foreshadowing ... very much worth the effort if you can pull it off. Good luck!

Yeah, the Paizo boards and the RPGenius have been a great source of information for my campaign already. I've been inspired by (read: stolen :D ) a lot of ideas that other people have used in their SCAP campaigns for my own. As a result I think my campaign will be a whole lot better than if I had just run it based on the information in the hardcover. I'm really excited and looking forward to seeing how it all turns out.

Our second session is tonight, with the PC's having just arrrived in Cauldron. We only play for 4-5 hours a session but I'm hopeful of the party getting part way through Jzadirune tonight.
