You guys keep talking about a god that was ressurected, but I haven't seen that in my readings yet. Where is there more information on that, and is there an actual moduel to make it happen in your campaigns if you want?
Dead God Trilogy by Richard Byers. That and Faithful and Forsaken talk about ressurrecting Jandaveos/That Which Abides. But really all the info in Dead God Trilogy.

There is no module per-sae but Faithful and Forsaken do deal with how to do it for your campaign.

Hey Nightfall, have we seen a list of the PrCs from Players Guide to Monks & Paladins yet? I'm curious because I'm in the market for an alternate paladin/holy warrior for Hedrada. Wanted to see if there were any classes that sound appropriate in there. Has Carriker hooked you up? =)

Yep there's a list. I posted it back on page 8 of this thread. There is an Acolyte of Justice, a Pr-class for Hedradan Paladins. I left off the details for all the Pr-classes in ALL the Player's Guides, but I can easily insert them in if you wish. In any case here's the brief description on Acolyte of Justice.

Hedradan paladins who roam the less-settled areas of the world, acting as judges, juries and (when necessary) executioners for those frontier areas without solid justice in place. With the ability to detect the truth and enact punishments to criminals found guilty, these guys are stern, hammer-wielding enactors of justice.

Hope that was helpful Ruined.

I've got a group running in Durrover at the moment(having just come up from Calastia, longish story, the Calastians that ran into them dislike them heavily). Anyhow, one of the problems they ran into was a high level sorceror who was supported by a tribe of Black Pelts. (DJ, I know you've looked into this thread, disregard the following, if you would.)

Now that they're into Durrover, are there any tribes of Slitheren with any sort of presence in/around the area?

Also, where is that Blessed of Mesos PrC, and could I get some idea of what it does? It sounds like it might be excellent for Sorcy boy.(Major Mesos worshipper)

There's ALWAYS Slitheren, they just don't make themselves widely know unless there's a small human prescene. But do I know of any off hand? No but I'm sure Black Pelts, regular Slitheren and probably some covert ones like Stalkers and Red Witches are available. :)

Blessed of Mesos with a Black Pelt, I already did. It was fun to watch. :) But if it's just a regular human sorcerer, not bad either. Blessed of Mesos are found in Player's Guide to Wizards, Bards and Sorcerers.

Blessed of Mesos are the elite of the elite. They are masters of metamagics along with enough spellcasting power to take down epic level archmages in some instances. They are also capable of, at higher levels, stripping any spellcaster of spells and in some cases, reusing that spell for themselves. If you want the nuts and bolts here it is:

They get what's called Metasorcery. This pool of points, which is equal to their BoM class level, allows them to spend these point to power metamagic feats WITHOUT increasing the casting time. The number of points spent is equal to the number of spell levels the metamagic feat increases the spell level. They can do so up to their Cha Modifier. So the higher the Cha, the more points they can expend on a single spell. He then must roll a Con check, (10+the spell level, + number of point spent). This means if say our sorcerer had a Cha of 25 (+7), he could create a quickened maximized fireball without increasing the level of that spell.

At 2nd, 4th and 8th levels, he can choose bonus metamagic feats

At 3rd, 6th and 9th levels, He gains bonus known spells equal to his Cha modifier. He still has to expend these on his bloodline/scion feat requirements before gaining any new spells.

5th level he can now basically counterspell almost at will. Requiring no spell, merely opposed rolls, the BoM rolls his Spellcraft versus the arcane spellcaster's Concentration check. If the BoM is higher, the spell fails.

At 7th level he gains an arcane devourer as a cohort.

10th level his unravel sorcery ability (the 5th level ability mentioned before) now allows him to recharge his spells per day if he succeeds in stripping the arcane spellcaster of his spells.

The bump goes on.

So folks any more questions. (Wow 9 pages. I think if it hits 10 I'm getting a new thread and a condo! ;) )

So... some friends of mine want to take various Technique feats from the Asaatthi book. They're actually playing characters from Kara Tur in the Realms. I have no problems with Taasuuden style, but Utaan Ite seems like a min-maxers dream, and I came down hard on Alyeeth Kassuk because said player was trying to convince me they could Iaijutsu Focus every round with it. Also, My Lie is Strong and Your Lie is Weak seem to be pretty powerful, doubling ranks in Bluff and Sense Motive.

Any other thoughts on Technique feats?
