Scarred Lands books...what are they?

settings

three underdeveloped area you might want to consider for your campaign are:
1) Darakeene
2) Albadia
3) Calista (although with the new calista book its not so undeveloped anymore)

Also consider Vesh, and Durrover. (Nothing says fun like having to fight your way across a war torn country and stay alive fighting BOTH sides. ;) ) But those are some ideas.

I certainly think transporting the players here will prove VERY interesting! ;)

I would suggest picking up the Player's Guide to Wizards, Bards and Sorcerers along with the R&R series. Believe me, having hte players a few battlemages cast Daggers of Vaul on an unsuspecting troops, be very interesting to watch.

I've been lucky. My first group (and no my present group) have decided starting out in the Scarred Lands isn't so bad. Perhaps my RL gaming group will be that willing. I hope so.

I thouhght your gaming group was in hollowfaust, was that an online group as well?

My online one is Hollowfaust yes San. However my RL one...well this new one. Can't figure out where they want to be. So I'm hopeful. Have to see in a few hours.

So how does an online game work?

Depends on what format you use. For my hollowfaust campaign, I run it off a special program call mIRC or IRC. It's also the program EN World uses for their chat program. So I use their "server" and run it in another channel. It's more story based and obvious text based, but it's had some interesting moments. Just ask NiTennise, Enrious or Docquestion. :)

Well the dice rolling machine works fine. But I will admit, there are times when minatures would help. However I'm not that big of fan of them. Still we've had fun. Just don't ask Enrious about his feelings towards Golem. He's not been too thrilled with the rolls Golem(the handle for the dice rolling program) has been handing out.
