Scarred Lands Question: Aethis of Vesh

I've just purchased all the Scarred Lands books and am reading the material both for enjoyment and familiarization for a campaign. On pg. 107 of Ghelspad, under the "People" header it talks of the Aethis as though it is both a location and a people. I'm unable to locate a mark on the Ghelspad map in Vesh for Aethis. Is this a subculture, mountain/hill range, or a town/city? The text is a bit confusing to me. It also speaks of Dalane... and again I am unable to find a map refrence. Are these provinces of Vesh?

Is there a more detailed/finer scale map of Ghelspad or Termanna availble anywhere online? I'm considering making the not inconsiderable investment of a poster sized color map at a local Kinkos.

There was a map of the Ghelspad continent online at the old SSS website, not sure if it is still there or if it is better than what you have though.

Is the relevant text short enough to post? I don't have the Ghelspad harcover, just the little gazetteer for the continent overview.

This text is listed under PEOPLE on page 107 of the hardback Ghelspad book, last paragraph.

"Dwarves are most often found in southern Aethis and Dalane. In Dalane, they actually outnumber humans. Though humans rule the province, Dalane is dominated by dwarven interests, but the Dwarves themselves have adopted many human cultural traits and are in many ways indistringuishable from thier taller countrymen. Ethnically, Veshian dwarves from the south have clack hair and fine features, with a copery skin that darkens with age. Norhtern Veshian dwares have less contact with humans. They have lighter hair, ausuallyauburn, with pale, thick features. Both groups have exclusivley brown eyes."

The second sentance actually answers my question. I read this thing three times and it just didn't gel for me that it was a province. The map on the webpage doesn't show any further details than the one in the books, so its left to the GM to decide where these provinces are.

Veshian provinces aren't clearly delinated and I will admit, the mapping for this world isn't ALWAYS the best.
