Scoops and the White Screen of Death

Hi guys,

Everytime I try and post a scoop or preview what I've written, I just get the White Screen of Death. I posted both a news scoop and pdf scoop today and got just that on both occasions (I paste the content into a submit box in rpg.net, so that I can preview it :\ ) - so I have no idea whether the scoop has been sent or not.

I can actually say that I've never seen what is on the other side of the White Screen of Scoop Death, as it rears its ugly head 100% of the time for me.

Is it just me or is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Have you tried recently? The white screens turned out to be tied to a memory issue with php. There's now 64 MB avail per script - I don't think you could be running that out.

Yep, experienced it three times so far today. Twice when posting scoops (it just ends in the white screen) and once, ironically, when previewing my original post of this thread.

I'd spotted the earlier thread about increasing the memory for php, so was a little surprised I was sill experiencing it. That's why I thought I'd mention it here.

If I preview this post (... hits preview post button...) ... I just got the white screen again!!

The PDF page is certainly showing your scoop, so it doesn't seem to be actually blocking anything. Weird, though.

Well, I guess it just must be me then. Since everything is working fine, however, it's no biggie, though I appreciate your fast responses.

Just out of curiosity, would it make any difference if I cleared all my cookies, etc? I know on the face of it it shouldn't make any difference, but I might just give it a crack.

[Just tried the preview and it worked fine this time for me also!! I would be nice to see what's on the other side of the scoop white screen though ]
