Scotley's and Leif's Constables of the 14th Ward [3.5E D&D] [OOC 02]

Rhun, you'd better thank your lucky stars that I was able to get a leash on Scotley just before he ripped your throat out. But, hey, I'm not sure how long I can keep holding him back.

Here's the email that I had waiting for me this morning:

[sblock=email to Leif from Scotley]
Hey fellow DM, we gotta take that :):):):) Rhun's been slingin' over in the OOC thread of the Constables game? I say we have a Deathclaw come bustin' up out of the floor drawn by all the recent activity. He's tired of spilled beer and goblin piss soaking down into his lair and he wants to tear somebody a new one. Maybe we tone down the 482 hit points just a smidge. Say this guy is just a half-grown pup of a deathclaw. But we let the Constables know that maybe someday momma's gonna come looking for the baby killers/Constables?

Scott the highly offended DM.

Bring it on! Brae's not afraid. He can take on three of those things, by himself, with no spells!

That's seems to have stunned our players into silence. Hope we didn't scare them off...

No, Scotty, it would seem that instead of running away, they were huddled together laughing at us! Let's give that Deathclaw a bad hemorrhoid flare-up and say that his mother-in-law has been visiting him for the past month. That should up the ante on them sufficiently!

Speaking from personal experiance Leif?

Depends.... I don't have a mother-in-law at present, nor am I currently experiencing any 'flare-ups.' HOWEVER, I do know from personal experience what both of these things feel like. (I have never had a mother-in-law stay in my house, however, I was always the guest in those situations.) Between the two, I would have to say that the 'flare-up' is more likely to cause one's damage dice to increase in size remarkably! But as far as BOTH of those things together?? Eeesh, no, I have no knowledge of that particular horror, thank goodness.

Don'tcha wish you had moved to South Arkansas (Camden, wasn't it?), Fenris??? [Do-da-deet-da-do-da-deet-da-dum, "Dueling Banjos"....]

Nope, smaller and more south. The bustling metropolis of Magnolia! I think it was the nest of Timber rattlers outside my hotel, no it was the 103 deg weather with lighting and rain. Or was it the fact that a certain group had bought 8 of the 12 allowed liquor licences just to prevent their use, or maybe it was the fact that the closest airport was 2 1/2 hours away in another state. They didn't show me the dueling banjo areas, but I drove through them on my own.

(actually the job wasn't as right for me, but that's not as fun to talk about :p)
