Scotley's and Leif's Constables of the 14th Ward [3.5E D&D] [OOC 02]

By my reckoning, everyone has chimed in except for Darius and Braz. Seems like I recall Lou mentioning that Darius/xedr would not be able to continue with us. As for Braz/Fenris, who really knows? All I can say for sure is that he hasn't posted IC in about 12 or 13 screens worth of game, or longer. Or, am I forgetting that he withdrew from the game in a more formal manner? Personally, I don't think it really matters: I say we go with what we've got and game on! If any others wish to join the fun, we can always work them in later. A party of 5 constables does seem a bit understrength for this game. Think we could stand to recruit some new blood to swell the ranks one again? If so, how many more? 1? 2? 3?

That was weird, but, anyway, judging from the silence after my last remark, I guess everybody just wants to leave the party alone for now?

Hmm, it could be a bribe attempt...

But yeah, doesn't look like we are going to get any bites for this game. Maybe if you change the header to 'recruiting one or two'? or is everyone happy with the current compliment of Constables. We can certainly adjust the challenges to accommodate the current group.

ERRod43h's post above is apparently some sort of spam. It contains several images as you'll note if you try to quote it. Anybody know what they are trying to do? These things are scattered all over the board this morning. I reported it and couple others by the same poster.

When he dropped by the other night I got the impression that they were on him like white on rice. He cut a swath of mayhem across ENWorld for a little while and then he was gone. Good riddance.

I reported him as well - he popped up in several LPF threads.

In regards to the number of Constables, I'm good either way. I usually prefer fewer players to more, as it keeps things moving a little faster. On the other hand, it doesn't make all that much difference in the long run whether a round of combat takes two days or three :D.

It does get cumbersome keeping track of who's doing what if there are more than 5 or 6 players.

Considering that we started this PbP game with an unheard of number of PCs, I think maybe we should just keep what we now have and not worry. We'll be fine with 5. But if we lose any more we'll have to seriously look at getting some fresh meat PCs. Any wisdom to offer, Scotley?

And you're right Mowgs! I had already forgotten how rough it was to try to run a round of combat with seven or eight PCs! Sheesh!

I must say the new smaller size of Constables is more convenient.

Let's forge ahead with what we have. Any of our wandering prodigals are of course welcome to return.

Just waiting on Alarion to chime in. Saw there were some earthquakes down his way this morning. Hope all is well.
