Scott or Linae: Any ETA on a new 4e D&D GSL FAQ?

No, I am not kidding. After the beating we took for the GSL timing I refuse to commit to a firm time frame. We will make an announcement when it is released. Until then, I will at least communicate with you that it is coming. Feel free to flame, but at least I'm not leaving you in the dark.

You know, you can curse the darkness, or you can just flame! ;)

Mynex & Merton at CMP took that stance also shortly after taking over eTools from Fluid & WotC. He made a couple of firm deadlines, they missed them and got the crap beaten out of them on their forums. Since then he's always avoided firm deadlines. Well except for RPGF, he has said that it definitely will be out by Dec 31, 2999. :)

Can you at least tell us if you've composed replies and these are passing around the proper channels (read: "legal") for clarification/expansion? Or if the replies are being composed by those channels, because I know many of them had way too much technicalities.

I doubt it. You aren't going to get a single peep until things are set. They are gun shy from the....what 20-30....mean posters here at ENWorld. I mean REALLY! The NERVE of those people expecting to accept a consistently broken word. :hmm:
