edwin_su posted a recap of the Q&A on the WoTC forums;

Gregbilsland: We understand that getting into D&D can be an expensive proposition, so we're actually looking at ways to address that.
Gregbilsland: We want as many people to be able to play as possible.
Gregbilsland: Without having to spend hundreds of dollars.
Tanis7401: Does Greg broad cast his dragonlance campaigns and if so is there a link to it?
Gregbilsland: @Tanis7401 I don't now, but I probably will after the rules are officially out.
Darthgnome: Is next more in line with 3/3.5 in the sense that the player can make a lot of choices about his character as he levels? Or are the choices mainly set at an early level?
Wotc_dnd: Angry - When you level, you get a stat bump at certain levels depending on what your class is.
Wotc_dnd: When you would get those stat bumps, you can instead choose to pick up a feat.
Wotc_dnd: Feats are a bit beefier than they would have been in the past, so it balances out to be about equivalent.

Darthgnome: Is next more in line with 3/3.5 in the sense that the player can make a lot of choices about his character as he levels? Or are the choices mainly set at an early level?
Gregbilsland: @Darthgnomes: It varies some by class. A lot of choices are established early by the subclass/archetype you choose, but the monk, for example, has lots of choices about the specific ki abilities it gets.
Gregbilsland: @Darthgnomes: And you can always swap out an ability score bump for a feat, which gives you a lot of customization.
Dave_in_tx: Can you talk about when we might see some updates to the D&D Insider site?
Wotc_dnd: Dave - I don't have any news about DDI. We definitely want to keep supporting the 4E fans who are using the DDI tools for their campaign, but other than that I have no news.

Xorbx: proficiency scores stack at each level right? so at 2nd would be +1 from first lvl then +1 for second equaling +2 at lvl 2?
Gregbilsland: @Xorbx Proficiency bonuses go up as you advance, so each class has a table that indicates what its current prof bonus is at a particular level. The bonus starts at +2 and goes up 1 every 4 or 5 levels (can't remember exactly).
Gregbilsland: Multiclassing doesn't affect proficiency bonus.
Gregbilsland: @Ancientsymphony My favorite classes are wizards and rogues. But I switch around a bunch.
Gregbilsland: @Ancientsymphony I almost never play the same race/class combination that I've played before.
Wotc_dnd: Not sure I have a favorite class yet, though I loved warlocks in 4E - I'll probably still love in the new edition.
Beingeaten: [q] what can be done to encourage more people to run as DMs?
Wotc_dnd: Beingeaten - Part of encouraging people to be DMS is making great tools and advice for them to step into that role. I think we've done a great job of that for the fifth edition of D&D.
Wotc_dnd: Another part is awesome adventure content, which again I think we're doing well. Hopefully you all get your hands on the new product and agree.
Angrygodofmilk: This was answered during the livestream but my sound was choppy. Barbarian rage is now a bonus to attack and damage (not advantage) and resistance to weapon attacks. What about Reckless Attack? Just the bonus to attack and damage, no resistance, but enemies are granted advantage?

Wotc_dnd: Angry - Reckless Attack I believe gives you an advantage on your next attack, but gives all attacks against you that round advantage against you
