What would you change from Scourge of the Slavelords? What would you keep? (My player: out! Spoilers!)


I like some of the set pieces, but I want the areas to make a lick of sense. I want the Temple of Highport guards and slave buyers to be able to move around ordinarily without triggering traps, for example. I want traps that force you to think, but are not undetectable simply because the DM says so. I want to eliminate the railroad, but I'm unsure what eliminating the railroad will do to the links that bring these set pieces together.

What have you done that's work and what hasn't worked when it's been in 3.0 or 3.5?
