Scourge Of Worlds DVD Demo

Ah, my mistake...he wasn't in the PHB, but then was added in to Enemies & Allies for some reason later.

It still stands that he wasn't/isn't one of the original Iconics though. Anyone know the full story behind that?

He's on page 88, Naull is on page 89, right next to him, and Eberk the Dwarf Cleric is on page 90.

Nope, those are PHB page numbers.

Regdar's always been an Iconic (cf, D&D Adventure Game). Heck, he was the one who opened GenCon to introduce D&D 3E!

Well gosh-darn it, I know he wasn't originally there somewhere, and that there is a story about that! I'm gonna ask somebody that again next Gen Con...

Iconic Fighters

There were two Iconic Fighters originally. Fighter is such a popular class in D&D that it made sense to have both a human fighter (Regdar) and a dwarf fighter (Tordek).

Tordek got the nod to be listed as the Iconic fighter under the PHB text and Regdar got moved to the section where they showed alternate iconics.

There are several other alternatic iconics, but none as important as Regdar. Nebin the Gnome Illusionist (the only iconic gnome) and a dwarven cleric.

/me waves hand!

My kids and I played it after it came in. Over and over. :D

We replayed the different paths to see the other outcomes. Died a couple of times, but had fun in the process.

and man, who knew druids could be so grumpy.

I have been pleaded with beyond all possible means by a 7yr old to get it. Whats a Dad to do?

Heres to hoping it actually plays well.

Buy.com has it listed at $16. While I like the price, it makes we wary about the over all value. So... we'll see.

I played with the demo that came with Dragon - and I just have one question:

Where can I find out who did the voices for the characters?

Actually it looks pretty cool, and the only bad thing I can say about it is I HATE Mialee's voice - she sounda almost valley-girl-ish. Otherwise it's pretty cool.

I was also reasonably pleased, seemed to be an amusing diversion. I'll most likely pick it up and give it a go. I expect the release version will not have issues with FF not being available, but it took me a bit to figure out the demo was over also, I thought maybe I had screwed up and tapped a button by accident.

I was sorta blah when I heard about this, but the demo was great! I can't wait to get me grubby hands on it.

Btw, Lidda was the best. But then she's the best in the books, too...

my DM is hosting a viewing of the game before our D&D session on Sunday.

i told him no wonder grognards call the new players vidiots.;)

of course, i'm still gonna take a peek.:o
