Just to confirm: say you are scrying someone which teleports away. Does the spell follow?

I would say no, since this is indicated in the spell's description:

If the subject moves, the sensor follows at a speed of up to 150 feet.

Also, what happens if the target moves at a greater speed than 150 ft.?

If they teleported, I'd say it moves towards them at 150ft. per round, it might take it a while, but it'll get there eventually.

Same thing if they move faster, it just follows, even if it's being left in the dust.

At least...that's my reading.

I'd say that if they teleport, or otherwise move in a manner that the spell sensor cannot, they get away and you're left scrying nothing.

Interesting. Since the effect is "magical sensor", if the original target moves away, the spell doesn't end. So you can scry someone, wait until they teleport, and then teleport yourself to where they were. Or if you are using greater scrying, you have plenty of time to set up an ambush until the original target comes back. Could be useful. :)
