Sealed In Blood - Chapter 1, Party B

[Macbrea]

The small kobold turns about and looks straight through the young feind that talked to him. "Kip is Kip, All Kips are like Kips, Kips have many friends, Not all of Kips friends friends. Kip take them for rides if Kip feels like it. If Kip's new friends not like Kip, Kip cut them in two.", the small blood red kobold seems to indicate his glowing claw bracers he is wearing with a slight grin.

Kip reaches into his pocket and pulls out a pair of rose colored glasses. He then pulls out a small cloth and cleans them. Placing them upon his head he notes, "Kip forgot must be sneaksy, Sneaksy Kip must be." Kip then taps his foot impatiently.

Kip appears as a well dressed kobold with blood red scales about 3 foot in height. He is wearing fine dark blue silk samurai style clothing with gold trim. About his head he wears a dark blue headband. Upon his arms are a pair of datansa and a claw bracers. The claw'a blades glow as if they aren't really there.

[ooc: Kip is Lawful evil, upon putting on the glasses he has commanded them to cast mindblank on him.]

Fiend lets out a sigh when Kip talks about his friends not being friends.

Well, Kip, I take it, by the look of your claws that you like to go toe to toe with your opponents?

And what about the telepathic communication?

 

[Macbrea]

"Kip not so sure about strange people talking in his head. As for toe toe Kip can do that. But Kip prefers to hang out inside people and let them fight toe to toe. It's much safer that way.", Kip grins.

"Kip a warrior of thought!", as Kip taps his head. "The claws are there for self protection."

 

[Dalamar]

An old sagely-looking human man speaks, caressing his long white beard with his hand.
"A mental bond, you say... An interesting thought..."
The man's form wavers for a moment and then stabilizes to a featureless black humanoid form. The creature speaks with a hollow voice.
"I'm Nameless, a shapeshifter. In my dragon form, I can hold my own in a fight if need be."

 

[Rathan]

*A ghostly manifests in a section of the field currently empty..... he's almost trasparent..... in his hand is a ghostly sword that looks as if it's on fire... but the flames are pure white.....*


"I..... am Conner Hellflame..... that's is all everyone needs to know......"

 

[Macbrea]

Kip shrugs and starts walking towards town shrouded in his mirky world. "Kip's ordered to open gate. Kips companions don't seem too active. I leave them on hill to discuss with grass about roots."

As kip approachs the city he will sneak along in an attempt to determine if the inhabitants of the city can see invisible. He will also collect information to bring back to party.

 

[Janos Audron]

Nameless the Shapeshifter. That is something that comes in handy. Could you change in some sort of bird native to here and report what kind of beings live in that city?

The Halfling looks once more at you, this time a bit longer, then shrugs and turn to the Ghost.

Conner the Ghost. Right. What are you best at? I hope our Master has selected us to complement eachother...

Irritated Fiend turns around and sees Kip wandering off.

Hey, Kip! You like voices in your head huh? Maybe it's good for your health if you listen to this one. Are you going to stop acting like you're alone here? We are here because we have a common goal and I believe that by cooperating, enhancing eachothers strengths and covering eachothers weaknesses, the opening of that Gate will go much more fluently than if we just go wandering off on our own. Now, if you have the patience of a seven-year-old, ask Nameless if he wants to take you with him scouting, but don't do anything that might give away our surprise!

So, Nameless, you agree on the mental bond? What about you Connor?

"Be my guest."
Nameless' form melts to that of a coal black raven. He waits for the mental link before taking to his wings and flying towards the city. He will build enough height to see if there are other settlements nearby.

 

[GoldenEagle]

"I am not much of a fighter, but I would like to visit the city and see who is there. I must admit that this door intrigues me. I, too, will listen telepathically if you will. Let us be off."

Kip turns about to look at the fiend. "Ah, you have somehow declared yourself the leader? Kip no care for either way. I will travel with the raven. He looks like he wants to actually scout."

Kip melds with the raven from the ethereal plane.


[ooc: Kip accepts the telepathic bond from the fiend. Kip takes possession of Nameless (DC 28 will save). If he succeeds in possessing Nameless he will not take control but grant him +4 profane wisdom bonus.]
