Searching For 2E Art work

Yeah, I really miss 2e artwork. Sure I like 3e rules a lot better, but I 2e artwork will always hold a special place for me. All the 2e artwork really envoked a sense of "high fantasy" and adventure. Most of the 3e artwork just seems a little weird. What's with the impractical spikey armor? Why do all adventurers dress in bondage clothing? And is it just me, or does Hennet the iconic sorcerer look a little too much like he's into S&M?

Cool. Thanks for the pic. I really miss the "high fantasy" feel that 2e envoked. 3e art work just isn't the same... but anywho, if you all know of more pictures and stuff that I can look at, just let me know. I can't really look in my ph because I don't own one anymore.

Sweet! Thanks, Kai Lord and A2Z. I love this stuff. :D
No problem, that Caldwell piece with the black dragon isn't 2E though, its from the 1st Edition Dragonlance module Dragons of Despair. I just like it.

When I think of old 2e stuff and for that matter, when I think of Dragons, I think of this guy, Den Beauvais:

He never gets enough attention in my opinion. He was one of my old D&D inspirations. This link is to a gallery of sorts, but his home site is worth a visit. I would have linked to it, but it seems to be down at the moment. There is a link to his site in this gallery.
