How is AL going in your area? I kind of got out of the groove of running AL. Real life issues, a great home campaign, and season 8's rules all contributed to my drop off. I have read some of your reports. Are you enjoying AL these days?

Once Governor Meemaw opened the state a little bit, I started hosting AL Games at my house. I have a few regulars. Some of the other AL gamers who were regulars at the store don't show up due to Covid concerns. (Mainly due to spouse or parents saying no.) I know more people want to play but Covid, AL DMS turning to homebrew, and works schedules were decreasing the number of players.

As if 606 AM Central today. D&D beyond has unlocked the hardcover. No Download of the adventure on my Android phone app.

Quick look. Gold,etc has not changed. Part of Tasha's changes are AL legal. Take your races stat bumps and place where you will but can not break them down. +2 dwarf con can be change to +2 int. Renown benefits change, Potion of x Healing at each level or something else.

Maybe a lot of the AL-relevant SCAG stuff that wasn't already reprinted in Xanathar's or Mordy's will be re-printed in Tasha's?

That would be:

Feral Tieflings (already kind of obsolete due to the options in Mordy's)
Variant half-elves
Barbarian - Battlerager, Totem Warrior
Cleric - Arcana Domain
Fighter - Purple Dragon Knight
Monk - Long Death
Paladin - Oath of the Crown
Warlock - Undying Patron
Wizard - Bladesinger (confirmed in Tasha's)
Booming Blade
Green Flame Blade
Lightning Lure
Sword Burst

I'd guess Arcana clerics and the SCAG spells are in Tasha's, in addition to Bladesingers and probably the barbarian sub-classes. I doubt many people would miss most of the rest of that SCAG stuff, except I do hope they put variant half-elves in as those can be quite good.
