Hrm. I belive before 3.5 the 3.0 books were reprinted at least once, with errata, i think. (call it 3.1 heh).

Has wotc mentioned a need to reprint the 3.5 books (yanno, cause the originals sold out or something).

With updated errata of course..(a 3.6?)

I just saw a "gift set" sort of thing in my local RPG-store. The three core books in a box-setting that looked pretty nifty. The price was way up there as well, so no discount for buying all three books at once

I'm guessing WotC did at least a bit of work before pressing the "Print" button those books. Well, I'll probably never know...

it's always inside, you can see it written in as '1st printing' or '2nd printing' usually jsut under where they put the credits in.

I'm pretty sure it was said on these boards that those are just 1st printings in that box.

- Star Wars RCR got its 2nd printing after about 12 months.
- d20 Modern has been out 14 months and I haven't seen anyone mention a 2nd printing of it.
- based on that, my guess would be that D&D will be a while still.
