I'm thinking of adding a new player to my D&D campaign. The group is agreed that we ought to run a trial session with this player, separate from the current PCs, to see if the new player's style fits us, and vice versa.
While I can manage to create an adventure myself, this seems as good an opportunity as any to poke at a published item or two. I'm looking for an adventure for 3.xe, 4 to 6 PCs, level 2-3. The thing needs to be short enough to run in one session (of perhaps 7 hours), or easy to cut down to such a length. Pregen characters are not required, but wouldn't be bad, either. I'd prefer it be generic enough to slip into a fairly run-of-the-mill D&D setting.
Anyone have suggestions?
