Seeking roommate in Atlanta

Wow, that's cheap, Ryan! We pay much the same rent in pounds, split only two ways. And that's before you add any bills or utilities!
Cheap indeed!! But - then again - housing in the DC Metro area is aboslutely insane.

Try looking at the purchase prices for houses here if you really want to be scared :)

Glad we purchased when we did...

I saw $795 and without thinking twice figured that was for one room! I clearly have been living in CA for awhile.

Does the university have a housing site setup? I know where I go to school they have a website devoted to posting requests such as these.

Yeah. I pay $1090 for a tiny one-bedroom, and my rent is quite low for the area (granted, the complex is fairly new, it's a nice part of San Diego, and less than 5 miles from my office, but it was still a major price shock when I moved out here).

Actually, that's pretty damn good for the Atlanta area as well. I pay a $500 mortgage plus about $120 in condo association fees. I'm frickin' jealous. ;)

We interviewed our first prospective roommate today. He works at the Emory Hospital, so the place would be great for him. He has to make up his mind, but we'd be willing to live with him. If you're interested still, let me know, but this guy (Frank) has first dibs.
