Hey there ENWorlders,
Every now and then I see someone post a statistical breakdown of probabilities with certain types of dice hitting different target numbers.
I'm designing a tabletop RPG and am looking for someone who would be willing to do a statistical breakdown of such things for my game. The game system is relatively simple, but breaking probabilities down is beyond my meager math skills.
I'd provide the basics of the game system and you'd break down the probabilities of hitting the standard, moderate target number. It's a "roll two dice and add them together" system at its core. But there are options for rolling three dice and taking two and adding them together. Also, there's a rule for being able to re-roll one of the dice being used.
If you're a math geek with some time on your hands and would like to help me out, send me a message here on ENWorld. The only thing I can provide in return is a credit in the final game and an offer to get you involved in future playtesting, if you're into such a thing.
Thanks for your consideration.
