Seeking spell that brings back the newly dead ...

There's a spell in a WotC book that allows a character who died in the round before to be brought back to life, I believe with all the restrictions of a raise dead spell. I think the spell is 4th level, and it might be called something like revivification.

I thought the spell was in Complete Divine, but apparently not.

Anybody know the spell I mean, and where I can find it?

There is a spell that does this and you don't even lose a level IIRC. Unfortunately I cannot remember where I saw it.

It's called Revivify and it lurks in the Miniatures Handbook on page 38.

[...] Complete Divine [...]

Maybe you found there the spell "Revenance" [p. 178]. It does the same trick, but after the duration is up, the creature drops dead again.

Although it probably isn't what you are looking for the XPH has a psychometabolism power that enables you to bring back the newly dead too.

Sounds like 'Last Breath'. Its in CD page 167 or in Masters of the Wild.

Yeah, there is a spell called Last Breath (druid spell if i recall) that brought back a dead person that died within the last round. It's in Masters of the Wild if i recall correctly.

Last Breath. Its a 4th-level Druid spell and does indeed appear in the Complete Divine.
