Prerequisites: Base attack bonus +4, Blind-Fight, Wisdom 19.
Benefit: Using senses such as acute hearing and sensitivity to vibrations, you detect the location of
opponents who are no more than 5 feet away from you. Invisibility and darkness are irrelevant,
though it you discern incorporeal beings.

Benefit: Attackers do not gain the usual +2 attack bonus when flanking you. This feat grants no
effect whenever you are attacked without benefit of your Dexterity modifier to AC, such as when you
are flat-footed or when you are the target of a rogue’s sneak attack.

Keen Eared Scout from PHBII is similar to Hear the Unseen but further improves your listen skill.
And there are of course the combat form feats from PHBII, especially Combat Awareness (similar to Combat intuition it lets you assess the hp of opponents) which grants you Blindsight 5-foot radius , if you have a total of three combat form feats.

Dungeoneer's Intuition (Wis bonus to trap sense, trapsense to surprise AC)
Earth Sense
Eyes to the Sky (sense scrying)
Guerrilla Scout (Listen and spot always class skills, +1 on init)

You could try to convince your DM to change your race to Dragonborn of Bahamut, which is in Races of the Dragon, if memory serves correct. If you choose the right ability (yes, you get to choose one out of three!), it gives you darkvision and low-lightvision that improves with your HD, and at 15th level you even get Blindsense.
The race change is neatly described in the book itself, so that shouldn't be too hard to accomplish. The -2 Dex, +2 Con and the loss of some of your initial racial abilities would be something to consider though. If you have a Dex based character, this may not be a good thing for you.
