September Essentials Updates

WotC just released the rules updates coming from the Essentials stuff here. Two things catch my attention:

1) Weapon Focus now requires a Weapon attack, meaning it's completely useless for Monks.. and my Monk/Invoker who abused the heck out of that. Kinda sad.

2) Sneak Attack damage can now be dealt once per turn instead of once per round. So... that means if a rogue gets 3 OAs in-between turns that are all granting CA, he gets three uses of Sneak Attack? Am I reading this right?

3) OK, I lied, but this is relatively minor. The rapier is a military weapon. Saves people some feats, I guess.

It also lists what can be considered common magic items, and therefore able to be created by PC. It's ... short. Especially if it's comprehensive, which it might not be.

Did I miss something ? When did rouges get to use the shortbow which is mentioned under sneak attack info?
