Sequel to 300 on the way

Sure it won't be 300 2 or 300II or maybe TH2.

I don't see what makes a sequal impossible. The last stand of the 300 Spartans only marked the beginning of the war. Many of the war's biggest battles were still to follow. There is plenty of material left to make a movie from.

Sounds cool to me, 300 was for the most part a pretty kickass movie. Yeah, the bare-chested hoplites and all the blood sprays were totally over the top, but the movie kicked ass anyway.

I want to see a sequel to 300. But I want it to include ancient technomagic. And monstrous hordes. And I want Leonidas to be renamed Randor. And I want his son to ride a green tiger.

Unless it's the Battle of Salamis, I can't see a sequel to 300 being anything but totally unnecessary. A prequel would be even worse. 300 isn't really franchise material. Let it stand alone and move on to other things.
