[SERENITY RPG] Redridge and Beyond

"Sounds like a good plan to me. If we get the drop on 'em, they'll go down quick, provided they're not better armed than us. If they do have bigger guns than they used on the kid, it might get messy. Let's just hope they don't."

OOC: So if got you plan, Doc, Demetrie, John and Sebastian will drive up in the mule all concenrned like. Gren, Gordon and Esther are in the back ready to unleash hell. Thats the Gist of it. Anything special you want to look for? Any details I'm missing? If not tomorrow we shall set this plan int motion.

OOC: Pretty much, just that the trio will find an alternate route to enter to hopefully take the opposition by surprise... I suppose, do we have any info on alternate routes into/out of the mines besides the normal approach?

OOC: Well you could be up on top of the canyon about 150' above the mine.

There are some outcroppings of rocks to hide behind, you just have to sneak to them.

You could go around the other side of the river and come in from behind.

OOC:
Not to be a pain, but unless somebody else mentioned it, the doc didn't say anything about the boy's wounds. Especially not the type of wound, or type of gun that shot him. He was hanging on to that bit of info for a reason.....

Victor looked at the man who summoned them all there. "Cole, a word with you in private please?" As he makes his way to a private section of the establishment with Cole he looks at him. In a hushed voice he begins. "Not that it's any of my business, but what are planning on doing with Donavan Tate? If he's in with these guild folk, he'll run off and tell them somehow. I'm sure they know we're coming already, but they don't know how or from where. That type of information could be given to them if Mr. Tate can contact them. Is there a way that you would be able to detain him until we got back?"

He listened to the man and then continued still in a whisper. "Almost forgot. The boy was shot in the back. Some type of rifle I believe. I'll let the others know once we're out of Donavan's earshot. So it's not bad enough that we're dealing with those purple belly loving guilies, but we're also dealing with cowards." He tosses the slug to Cole and hobbles outside to wait for the others.

Cole Whispers back to you: "Thats why we invited him, he ain't goin now where till you come back one way or another. Trust me this is going to get uglier before it get better. He has some friends in high up places and him disappearing will raise all sorts of questions."

John listens as the plans are made appearing unhappy, a scowl plastered all over his face. More killin'. Everyone always wanted to go in with guns blazin', without any hope of civilized discussion. He had seen death and plenty of it during the war. And he had seen death in all it's ugly forms while roaming around on the Rim worlds. This backwater was no different than any other. Folk always killin' other folk. What a waste.

He agrees to go along if only for the chance of talking some sense into the Guilders, and maybe try to keep violence from ensuing.
