Victor looks at the bullet graze and sighs. While the others are on the hill discussing things, he walks over to Stinky. He checks his wounds and tries to stabilize him. Once he is stabilized, He slaps the man to make sure he's awake and aware of his surroundings.

"How many are in there? How many innocent lives have you endangered or killed by collapsing that mine? Tell me now before something like what happened to Mason happens to you."

OOC:
If the man seems not willing to talk, the doc will put pressure on the wounds to get the info he wants. You did say that these guys are in league with the Alliance, yes?
 

Sebastian looks around, thinking to himself..so much blood...oh well we all have our parts in this little play..might as well let my appearance help a bit.

He drops to a knee and checks Mason for a pulse not suprised to find him dead...he calmly wipes the blade off on the man's uniform before sheathing the sword. Then follows Victor over making sure no one keeps the Doctor from doing his job. Also doing his best to stand out letting the survivors see the man in fine blood covered silk, hoping the site of him makes them talk a bit quicker.
 

When the gunfire ends and his flashback subsides, John stands shakily to his feet. He looks down at the cowering Jones and says, "Tell me what happened here, son. No deception. No sense making the Lord any angrier with you than he already is."
 

Esther helps Gren into the shuttle. You see it is configured for transport rather than cargo. There are 2 seats in the back that have shackles built into them, looks like for transporting criminals. Grens gets comfortable, you feel a little better sitting in a pilot seat.

Gordon, is calling to Esther to stabalize the gunman he brought down. Esther rips some cloth into some crude bandages and manages to stop the bleeding (Field Medicine 12) He will live for a few hours but he will need medical attention.

Victor, you are kneeling down at the wounded man. He is not in good shape, you also manage to stablize him. His eyes open, a little glossy, blood coming out of mouth "I'm sorry, we was just trying to.." <cough> "..to scare them, I didn't mean...." He trails off into unconscioness.

Sebastian kneels down and feels for pulse, you don't find one. If only the man hadn't defended himself like you were swinging a club instead of a razor sharp piece of tempered steel he would still be alive today. You do notice a badge on him, looks legit and his ID does identify him as a deputy of this small moon.

John, the man kneeling at your feet begins his confession "We's didn't for them to all die. Mason said to round em up and keep em in the mine till this Ainsworth brought back his equipment. Well we was roundng em up and then they turned on us, a gun fired and then all gorram hell broke loose. I saw a boy run and he (points to he man Gordon and Esther are fixin up) shot him. Well then Butch got hit with a shovel and he shot the old man in the face. The miners then ran into mine, well Butch wasn't done he picked up one of the minin charges we's brought and threw it in the shaft. Well I guess them miners had there own charges set cause it blew like a gorram Unification Day party fire cracker and the whole shaft collasped. I don't know if I hit anyone but I did shoot. Oh lord please forgive me!" He puts his hands in his face and begins sobbing.

Demetrie you grab some rope out of the mule, walking around. There is a lot of blood around here and your stomach is still a little upset.
 

Gordon looked at Jones.

"You gotta expect people to stand up for 'em selves, even if it ain't a smart time to...no, especially if it ain't a smart time! You'd better pray that those miners weren't all killed."

He looked around at everyone else.

"C'mon, we've got a job to finish."
 


OOC: Going to wait a bit before I post an update. Site was down for me all day yesterday and I just want to give others a chance to do something or ask some questions.

Some Notes: 3 Dead, 1 is a Cop.

You have secured the shuttle.

You have 3 prisoners, 2 are wounded badly 1 is uninjured and is co-operating (At least with John)

Gear you could take: 1 Ballistec Vest on the cop, 6 Pistols, 1 Rifle. 6 Pistol reloads, 1 Rifle Reloads, 25 Alliance Credits on the cop 100 Platnum Coins (20 From each)

The Mine entrance is completely collasped, you can't hear anything.
 

About a 1/2 hour after the battle, you get all the 2 wounded stabilized enought for travel (they ain't going any where) and you tie up Jones. He is co-operating.
Around the mine shaft you see 4 Mining charges. None of you are trained into how the use them so blowing the entrance out to try the free the trapped people might not be pretty. You gotta blow stuff up if you want to learn though.

He mumbles "I don't know how many are alive in the mine, there was some fussing as we's herded them in. My guess is 20 or 30 are crowded in there. I swear to God I didn't mean to kill nobody." He begins sobbing again.
"Mason there said he would forget to file the police report and let us go when we get back. He even gorram paid us to help out. He said the Miners Guild would be mighty pleased and if we do this right there could be even more money in the future. Mason said that this guy Ainsworth stole something expensive from the Guild and we needed to get it back. He didn't care to tell me what it was." he babbles.
You could ask him more questions.

Also John don't forget your special mission. Well you can forget it if you want.

A crackle comes over you communicator its Cole "Hey, this is Cole. Is everything alright? You alive?"
 

Gordon pulled out the radio and answered.

"That's a big yes. We had a little fight, but the team's intact. Seems there was a scuffle and these back-berths blew up the opening to the mine during the fightin', and one of 'em shot the kid when he tried to run away. I've got more to say, but I'm not sure it's safe on an open frequency."
