Having raised a total so far of $12,400, and exceeding our Platinum Goal, the New Server Fund Drive is now over. We'll be giving out the prizes to those who donated in a couple of weeks (to allow cheques to filter in and ensure nobody gets missed). I'd like to offer a hearty "Well done!" to everyone, and a sincere thanks - with your help, we are now looking forward to a super-fast EN World! I, and the admins/mods of the site, are completely bowled over by the response and, once again, I am reminded what a wonderful community has grown around this website over the years.
If you still wish to contribute to EN World, there are a couple of options:
I should also take a moment to say thank you to Kevin "Piratecat" Kulp and the rest of the Server Drive Committee for their hard work in coordinating this fund drive. Now for the really fun part - buying the servers (yep, we can afford two for a great dual-server setup) and migrating all the data over. We optimistically hope to have it all up and running by the new year.
If you still wish to contribute to EN World, there are a couple of options:
- Community Supporter Accounts - a CS Account gives you access to a few nifty features and goes towards ongoing costs and maintenance.
- EN World Store - buying RPG books and goodies from EN World's store directly benefits the site (especially if you buy EN World Gamer #1!)
