Has anyone heard any scuttlebutt on a Monte Cook submission?

What happens when he wins?

Are there any other big names that are likely to submit?

I'm thinking Greenwood is out (FR), Weiss-Hickman already have theirs (DL), Gygax has his own system (now THAT would be funny if he was a finalist).

I'm thinking Monte is a ringer here. Setting of Vile Darkness anyone ? (jk).

Heard nothing but I doubt we'd here something even if he didn't make it passed the first round. Not only could he possibly develop it himself but there are plenty of publishers that would at least look at it.

As for other big names... we know Ryan Dancey didn't pass the first round but that's about it. I wouldn't count Greenwood, Weiss-Hickman or anyone else out. Just because they currently have settings for WotC doesn't mean they couldn't come up with another winner.

Now that we've seen one of the one-pagers that was in the second round, Dawnforge from FFG, I'm very curious to see how similar the winning setting is to it. It would be fascinating to see how similar all the round 2 entries were.
