Shackled City: In My Hands

Hi,

It sounds really good! I'm definitely getting it.

Seems to me that conversion to FR would be pretty easy. Swap the gods over and situate Cauldron in Chult or Tashalar.

Cheers

I forgot to mention, I went to my local Borders and Barnes and Noble. They both said they are not planing on getting it in, but they can special order it. I'm going to have to make a special trip off Cape Cod to a FLGS to pick it up.

When will this be available from other distribution channels?

Which other distribution channels do you mean? Shackled City is currently available in hobby stores and on paizo.com. We have been trying to get the product into bookstores, but the process has been slower than we had liked.

If you email me and let me know where you live, I can see if there is a FLGS in your area that I can point you to. Or, you can check out paizo.com.

Now that's customer service! :)

The bits I read of Shackled City in Dungeon were pretty interesting and I've been eyeballing the Freeport stuff that Green Ronin is putting out, the question I have is...how nice will these two play with each other? Obviously Cauldron could be on an island which would tie in with Freeport, any possible insights or ideas about this? I'm starting to form the nascent germs of a campaign idea.

KD,

I honestly don't see how they couldn't, since Cauldron, while GH veined, can work into Freeport's Trilogy with the proper adjustments:

The Shackleborn are the direct result of Jalie Lichfoot's help and that of the Lord of Madness, both seeking to gain freedom and greater power.

Just one idear.

I was able to take a looksie-through for a few minutes this evening. One of our friendly local ENWorlders pre-ordered it, and had already run the campaign out of Dungeon over the last year. The adventure path had come recommended from him, but I like to get my mitts on something before I buy it.

It looks VERY good. And between Keith's customer service and a chance to hold the final product in my hands, I'll probably be ordering this pretty soon from Paizo.com.

By "other distro" I meant B&N, Amazon, bookstores etc. I'm not very LGS-savvy with this area, and I honestly do alot of my RPG-shopping in B&N stores because I get a member discount and, more importantly, I have someplace to sit down and drink a cup of coffee with the book, pour through it a little, get a feel for it.

I'm pretty excited about this. Now to find an interested group in Tuscaloosa ... :)

Thanks. The worry I had about Shackled City was that it was one of those 'once you are in it you are in it' adventure/campaign sorts of things that doesn't let you hop out and go tromp around in other scenarios or what have you. I like to do the mix and match steal big, steal little sort of thing. :)
