DM'S NOTE: I'm really sorry about the delay, my screen name went kaput on me, and I couldn't post.
Sul'Dan, calmly fires another arrow (8+7=15), and places the shaft firmly into a charging soldiers chest (5+2=7), which transfixes him, and drops his suddenly still body to the ground. While Sul'Dan's arrow is still in the air, Alexander spurs his mount into a charge, and sets his lance to deal a deadly blow. Arcanra also attempts to fire an arrow, (natural 1, bow fort save = 9) but in his nervousness, he drew the arrow to far, and a crackling snap heralds the destruction of his string. Tores proves his mettle, and complete lack of better judgement by charging, on foot, towards the Zhents in the dunes. Gavin also fires an arrow at the remaining suicidal Zhent, (2+4=6) but fails rather miserably, sending his arrow off into the dunes. Jasper, rather desperately (he wants the kill) fires a bolt, (6+5=11) and barely avoids doing some real damage to the Zhent as his bolt embeds itself in a chunk of leather armor. By now, Alexander has completed his charge, and his leveled lance catches his opponent at head level (natural 20, 9+8=17, Oh, Dear God) (I don't know off the top of my head if a lance is a x3 or x2, but it doesn't really matter, so i'll count it as a x2) (20+12=32) and with a sound much like that of a ripe melon, Alexander's shiny new breastplate is spattered with blood, gristle, and brain matter. Eew. Alexander's breastplate is then impacted by a crossbow bolt. Also, chanting can be heard from the camp, and two more Zhent's with crossbows (one frantically reloading) run in to aid their comrades.
