This pic came out a bit lighter -and more reddish- than the piece really looks, but you can still get the general idea.

Very good, thanks for sharing! I know you said the pic came out light but personally I would have went with a much darker color-scheme. The detail shows off very well in yours.

On the sculp though, as good as it is (and it is) good) I just can't picture a Balor/Balrog as looking like anything other than the representation present in The Lord Of The Rings feature films.

The mini itself is a bit darker than it looks in the image. I was trying for a "living shadow" effect on the body with firey "hair" and light coming from eyes (much like the balrog in the movie). The flames are less orange and more multicolored too (red, orange & yellow).
