Shadow Goblin

Does D&D have any shadow based goblins besides adding the Dark/ Shadow Creature (LoM Book) Template to a goblin?

If there is not a race of shadow based goblin not I have a description of what I see them looking like as of right now. That character description below is a male shadow goblin. Show he have a bat-like head?
He is a slender diminutive humanoid that stands three-and-a half feet tall. His skin is jet black and cold to the touch. He has shadowy, almost insubstantial bat-like wings. The wings span ten feet from wing tip to wing tip. His head is resembles that of a bat. His eyes are a dark and dusky grey in color. Razor-sharp jagged pointed black teeth line his wide mouth. Both wide hands have four fingers and a thumb that end in a large retractable jet-black claw. The prehensile tapering tail measures two feet in length. He wears a vest and pants of the deepest black. The toes ending in a sharp, two-inches long claw.

What should he look like then?
OH! Far be it from me to hold back anyone's imagination when making a critter. That creatures sounds sweet as it is, but my question is, if you make that many alterations to a goblin, is it still a goblin, or do you call it something else, an entirely new creature?

I got the idea for the look of the head from the Vril Warrior.
Nice.
So, are you looking to take the goblin's stats, add some Hide and Move Silently Bonuses, Add a concealment in shadows, Add a fly speed, Add a bite, 2 claw and a tail attack and call it a day?

Yes but with maybe one or two small shadow based powers. What would be a good power or two for them to have?

Maybe take a page from the Shadowdancer's book? Shadow Jump is a cool if limited power. Also, take a look at low-level illusion spells. 1/day Silent Image or 1/day Blur sound like good fits. The 1/day Darkness thing would be a Tiefling ripoff but works as well.

BTW, in Fiend Folio there are several creatures inspired by the shadow theme, you might want to get some inspiration there.
