I do still want a "Paladin" class. Not just a ported/converted D&D Paladin, but something unique and interesting and Shadowdarky. Something evocative of Galahad.
The Priest is designed to fill the roll of either the D&D Cleric or Paladin depending on it's stats and how you want to play it. I could be wrong, but because of this it seems unlikely that there is a specific paladin class.

Eh, Kelsey came up with the witch and warlock before the full Shadowdark rulebook had been released, even though the wizard already covers those niches reasonably well.

People like options. I would expect she will continue to crank out specialized alternate classes as long as she's making Shadowdark content, to say nothing of other publishers, who have already released at least a half-dozen paladin types.

There are also A LOT of fan and indie Shadowdark things out there, and for some things Kelsey may just consider it covered already.
