Shattering Fist special attack?

In the latest Dragon (issue #321), there is, in the Silicon Sorcery section, a monk NPC from the Temple of Elemental Evil CRPG. It mentions briefly that he's "mastered a special technique that makes him particularly effective at destroying magic items." (page 59)

This appears to be a special attack he has in his stat block called "shattering fist", but other than the above notation, I can't seem to find this anywhere, or what it does. Did the author just not convert something from the computer game, or is he using a resource I didn't check?

S&F Eagle Claw Attack lets you damage objects with an unarmed strike. This "benefit" is, of course, useless.

CW Eagle Claw Attack lets you add your Wis bonus to damage when attacking an object.
