My wife and I saw the trailer when we wenat to see Collateral. A romantic comedy...with zombies. It looks hella funny. I gather its already out in the UK.

Anyone on that side of the pond seen it?

I've seen it...

I actually saw the movie on my flight from Dulles Airport to London last week. It was pretty funny, but a lot of the humor, is very "british" for me american tastes. A lot of the movie focuses on the Hero, Shaun, and his friends trying to get to the pub on last time, during the rise of the undead.

I say it is a definate Rental movie, on my personal scale, but it was quite humorous and had some interesting twists on the whole "dawn of the dead" theme.

My friend's older brother is suffering from depression because of
lot of nasty stuff that's been happening to him recently. Me and
my friend dragged him with us to see this movie (we had already
seen it once).

Since, he's been like another person. A happier one. The day after
he finally got out of his bed before dinner for the first time in weeks
and found himself a job.

If that's not the greatest recommendation, I don't know what is.

If my wife hadn't been with me at the movies, there would never be any way I could talk her into it...

"Yeah, baby...I think its gonna be cool...you know a romantic comedy like the ones you like...ahem...only with zombies...ahem

"What was that last part?"

"Nothing...just a romantic comedy...that's all..."

Instead, she was there and was laughing harder at the previews than I was...at the end, she turned to me and and was like "we HAVE to go see that..."

So, yeah...I'm pretty psyched...

It came out in the UK quite a while ago (but we're still waiting for Hellboy - so I guess we're owed something). I really enjoyed it, it was very cleverly put together. It's good film to go to with a group of friends. It'll end up a cult classic.

What really made my day was that the cinema I went to must not had been very rigorous in applying the age rating. So about a third-or-so of the way I got to watch a whole row of kids get up and walk out.

It was a fantastic movie. There were plenty of in-jokes that anyone who hasn't seen the Spaced series will miss! Go and see it. NOW!
