Does it "break the condition" or are you then immobilized in your new space?

That entirely depends on the nature of the immobilized condition: physical sources are, magical sources are not.

However, it does not get rid of the restrained condition, which would then reapply the immobilized condition.

Oh, *sure*, read the original post & address the actual original question instead of haring off after this straw-condition everybody else is discussion.

No wonder you make so much sense.

;)

actually, many forms of restraint ARE ended by teleporting.
And those which aren't, the immobilisation isn't either.
✦ Immobilized: Being immobilized doesn’t prevent
you from teleporting. If you were immobilized
because of a physical effect, such as a creature grabbing
you, you can teleport away and are no longer
immobilized or restrained, if applicable. If you were
immobilized because of an effect on your mind or
body, teleporting does not end that effect; you’re still
immobilized when you reach your destination.

Ettercap Webspinner would probably NOT let you out for TPing.

Feels like things that immobilize or restrain should perhaps have a keyword if they do (or don't, whichever is easier) go away when teleporting.

Cause, yeah, I can totally see someone teleporting out of a bunch of webs and no longer being restrained.

Here is the post-errata text for teleportation out of immobilization/restraint:

Immobilized or Restrained: Being immobilized or
restrained doesn’t prevent a target from teleporting.
If a target teleports away from a physical restraint, a
monster’s grasp, or some other immobilizing effect
that is located in a specific space, the target is no
longer immobilized or restrained. Otherwise, the
target teleports but is still immobilized or restrained
when it reaches the destination space.

So yeah, you can teleport out of some immobilizes/restraints but not others. I'd say an Ettercap's web is a "physical restraint," so it would be broken by teleporting.

Restrained and Immobilized are two different conditions.

Restrained is a condition of which gives immobilized. This is the same as how dying gives the unconscious condition; something that could end the unconscious condition would not be effective, because dying then reapplies it.

Teleportation works against BOTH. That's the point I was making.
