Shifter PrC (MotW) & Epic Feats

Then there's the spell Shapechange, which our party's Sorcerer/Archmage (total level is 23 I believe) recently picked up. And he's got a Rod of Persistent Metamagic (lets him use the Persistent Spell Metamagic feat 3/day without having to use the +4 spell slots it normally would). So now he's got a Persistent Shapechange on... and it has no HD cap, and no practical size limit (it says 200 feet in height/length is biggest one can get, but that's well into Colossal). And with no HD cap, he can turn into things like Umbral Blots (which may be what he plans on doing, since he says his character's studying up on Constructs)...

I wasn't that pleased when I heard of this... (by the way, my character's now a Rogue 5/Druid 5/Shifter 10, and I am having an absolute blast with him -- as a housefly, I'm an incredibly effective scout, especially with my max ranks in Hide, Listen, Spot, and Wilderness Lore [and the Track feat]!).

Now I just need to work on my Wisdom so I can get the Magical Beast Wild Shape and Dragon Wild Shape Epic Feats, so I can get their Supernatural powers....

if this is true, it gives you 4 levels back to use for another prestige class. (17-20th level of druid need not be taken, and as long as you get a +1 existing spell level class you'll get 9th level spells.

Yep, seems so :)

What's a shifter to do after reaching Shifter10? I'm currently playing a Druid5/Shifter10/Ranger1 and am not sure if I want to continue in Ranger or Druid.

I took Ranger for the weapon proficiency, Track feat, and skills. If I go back to Druid I'll have a problem getting through opponants SR since I'm 11 level behind in spell casting power. Once epic levels kick in, going epic Shifter seems a better choice. Since there are not advanceable abilities, they'd probraly get epic feats like an epic fighter.

Just curious as to what others have done or have planed out for their characters.

Thanks
