Shifter Questions

First Post
A quick question. Does the Eberron's Shifter shifting ability modifier stack with the following:
a) A Barbarians Rage
b) The Weretouch PrC (Eberron & Eberron Errata)
c) The Bear Warrior Prc (Complete Warrior & Errata)
d) All of the above

If (c) or (d) would the shifter feat 'Shifter Savagery' (Races of Eberron) and any other shifter feat stack as well?

Finally if (c) or (d) would the feats 'Dragon's Totem' & 'Dragon's Rage' (Eberron Campaign) work effecitively?

Thanks in Advance

Being unnamed bonuses, they stack with anything, assuming that the other bonuses don't specifically overlap or replace the bonuses from Shifting. (The Weretouched Master's abilities, for example, replace their normal Shifting, and therefore you can't Shift AND become a Wererat.)

Can you show/tell me where to find that tid bit of knowledge? As I have had little success.

I ask these questions because if my math is correct and these do all stack together, by 11th level a character built a certain way could have either a +18 to str & +4 to con (+22hp for a min of 5 rounds) or a +8 to str & +14 to con (+77 hp for a min of 10 rounds  ) when raging, shifting and in black bear form all at the same time. Plus the natural attacks while in Black Bear Form will increase by two size catagories due to the Shifting Savagery feat. Don't forget that Power Attack is a pre-req for the Bear Warrior PrC. :]

Or did I forget something here.....?

a) Yes. (As stated in, for instance, the ragewilder combat style, you can be shifting and raging at the same time)

b) No. (From the Errata: "the weretouched master can’t use this ability at the
same time that he is shifting.")

c) Only the ability adjustment, not the shifter trait. (Your bear natural weapons probably do more damage than the shifter natural weapons, and natural armor bonuses don't stack).

d) No.

Actually I belive that statement is in reference to the Alternate Form ability of the Weretouch Master Prc and in that case I agree. However the Weretouch I, II, & III ability does not specify that it does (or does not) stack with the Shifter's ability adjustment. Leaving me to believe that it does.

Agreeded. Though I am curious to hear your (or anyone elses for that matter) opinion on whether or not the shifter trait that gives you +10 to movement would continue to work in bear form. Plus would you allow the shifter feat 'Shifting Savagery' to work in conjunction with being in Bear form?

{ To those who don't know Shifting Savagery allows the players natural attacks to increase by two sizes and doubles the critical threat range while raging. }

Another thing, when raging in either black, brown or dire bear form, who's BaB do you use? Yours, the bear's or which ever one is better? And how does multible attacks due to high BaB work?

I apologize in advance for the all questions.

Bear Warrior's bear form do not stack with Rage, since it is an alternate benefit of Rage (you gain the bear adjustments instead of your regular raging goods).

In bear form you have natural attacks, and you never gain iterative (i.e. +11/+6/+1) attacks with natural weapons. You get one attack with your primary natural attack at your highest attack bonus, and secondary attacks with your other natural weapons at either -5 or -2 (if you have Multiattack).

The WTM's Weretouched benefits are to be included in the benefits of his shifting. As such they stack with rage and with whatever benefits Shifter Savagery grants.

Shifter Savagery doesn't stack with Bear Form. You can benefit of Improved Natural Attack, though.
