Should Assassin be theme or class?

Coming from the thread about Rangers and Paladins, what do you think about Assassins?

I only opened this thread because I am a hardcore player of Elder Scrolls, Oblivion and Skyrim. In these games, the Assassin's Guild, the Dark Brotherhood, consists of assassins of different classes.

For example, my rogue got accepted as an assassin. The guild also has an orc warrior (full armor and battle axe) who is also a member assassin. There is also a wizard (cloth armor and no weapons) who is also an assassin.

Why does the assassin and the rogue be different classes?

It should be a Class.
It will be a Class.
It will apparently generate threads unique threads about these facts in the same way as every core class that is not Fighter, Cleric, Rogue or Wizard.

Ha-ha, total, outside of Priest/Rogue/Warrior/Wizard, there's a lot of wiggle-room.

You know, I want both. I want a Theme for Rogue based on professional murder.

And then I want an Assassin class with mystical shadow powers.

Yep.

Later, there will be threads about whether we need RED dragons. Can't we just have dragons and use a red theme?
