Should I sell the old RPG books that I don't use?

For me, it's all about the space and the updates.

For example, Monte's revised his books of Eldritch Might. I have the 3.5 version so I'll probably get rid of the original versions.

Same deal with Legions of Hell/Armies of the Abyss. Updated in Book of Fiends. Good stuff but not good enough to own twice in different editions.

Original PHB, MM, and DMG? All gone.

Now I've been running out of space more and more as more books come out and I buy and get them for review so I also do the trading/giving away thing but my group is a little funny with some of that stuff acting sometimes like I owe them the goods due to being a reviewer.

As far as needing something at a latter date, hell, go back to e-bay and buy it. The way the market is, it'll probably be there.

i dunno, yesterday i sold a ton of stuff i'm never ever gonna look at (creature collection, relics and rituals, ravenloft, other assorted crap that will never ever fit in my dragonlance campaign), and i feel fine =)
of course, i traded it all in for D&D minis, but still =)

Sell, sell, sell!
I sell when I want something. I encourage you to sell it and buy some new books you have been thinking about/wanting. Selling means someone else gets your old stuff because they want it and will get excited about it - and you get money to buy something you want and can get excited about.

Thanks for all the responses!

I am still "up on the fence" about whether or not to sell my books, but at this rate, it looks like I won't be anytime soon. :)
