A whistle costs 8sp, a bell costs 1gp. Of course, many hired guards already come with all of the bells and whistles attached...or at least included in the cost.

As grouchy as I've been about much of the 4E stuff I've read about, I can say with absolute firmitude and seriousity that this is where I hurl down the gauntlet:

No flumph! No sale!
 

I voted no. There's bound to be a few non-serious monsters in the MM 4e, even if only by accident (eg they were meant to be serious).

Did you know Ferengi were meant to be serious? *Sigh*
