I'm shopping for miniatures and am currently wading through pages and pages over at miniature-giant.com. Care to speed it up for me? Show me a favorite miniature, preferrably one that is for sale (or it could be one you own). Thanks!

Scale? Fantasy or other genre? Monsters, PCs, or bad guys? Metal or plastic? Pre-painted? Re-painted? D&D-specific (e.g., beholders or mind flayers)?

Fantasy, preferrably D&D specific, but not necessarily (not to mention that some companies, like Reaper, just give them different names; e.g. "evil eye lord" = beholder).

Other than that, pretty much anything goes. I prefer metal although if you really like a plastic figure, feel free to post it (and I didn't know you could buy pre-painted metal figures?).

Preferrably usable in a 4E campaign I'm starting up soon. PCs, monsters, bad guys...all good.

Also, what other metal companies are good other than Reaper?

Cannot recommend them highly enough - Kev and Sally are great people who run a great company. They have a lovely range of gnolls, orcs, goblins, as well as hordes of adventurer types!
