Use a combination of brightness and contrast. Some pics may be beyond photoshop help...

And, Crothian, this camera is less than $100 at Walmart. It's a good little camera. Survived being dropped at the Hyatt hotel during Dragoncon. :)

I'll give it a shot, but I'm kind of lazy when it comes to pictures. I want the pool one to look better so that will be my first attempt.

And you're right, this camera isn't very expensive and it has 16 Mb of internal memory and a SD/MMC slot. Plus it does 30 second video clips. It's zoom is a little limited but it's stil pretty nifty.

And I'm glad to hear it can survive some abuse, although I have no plans to abuse it on purpose. My sister would kill me. :p

Doesn't look too bad. :)

I need to adjust alot of my con pics that came out a bit dark when I burned them to disk.

I bought a card to put in mine as I knew at cons that 16MB just won't suffice! :)

The Lobby Redux!

One turned out better than the other, IMO. (26a)

About how many pictures can you get into the standard 16MB memory? How much does that card cost? ;)

I think about 16. It was on sale at Best Buy. They were selling their 512MB cards by PNY for $29.99 at the time. Usually they run twice that. I just hit it lucky. But then you can get about 600 pics on there at 650kb per pic.

Next up, I went throughout my apartment building and took some quick shots. Nothing fancy and some are a bit dark. Thus, only the best ones below.
You have a (small) gym and a pool inside your apartment building???
That's it, I'm moving to Canada! (although my girlfriend insists on me coming to London instead... oh bummer :( )

The pool is the best, but the (small) gym is overrated. It's actually a combination gym - billard room - recroom. I spend a lot of time down there reading.

I happened to notice this thread just as Veruca Salt's song Shutterbug started up on my MP3 player... was very strange.

However - those trees look beautiful! I LOVE autumn!!! :D
