Sidewinder Recoiled?

Hey, Geoff... you have a couple of errors in Snakebites 1.. Just... that jumped out at me...

Roy Nelson,Male Human Fast 3;Ruslter 3:
Shouldn't that be:

Roy Nelson,Male Human Fast 3;Rustler 3:

And then again, with:
Roy Nelson,Male Human Fast 3;Ruslter 4 Gunslinger 2:

Which should be:
Roy Nelson,Male Human Fast 3;Rustler 4 Gunslinger 2:

And:
Roy Nelson,Male Human Fast 3;Ruslter 4 Gunslinger 5:
(I'm sure you can guess which one is misspelled. :) )

Not trying to pick, or anything, and I wasn't really looking for mistakes... but those are in bold text and just sort of jumped out.

I think I'll hold off on that, until I see this product (you've already got a buyer, here, Geoff), and see how I can mix -n- match... I may still need to do a little converting...
How much is there in the way of FX in this?

Sidewinder: Recoiled is purely mundane material, there is zero F/X in the book. However, it is 100% compatible with d20 Modern so it will be easy enough to add it if you are so inclined. I've always felt it is much easier to add magic into a setting that to strip it out.

Thanks for the heads up. Good ol' Roy will be getting redone in the near future anyway to be updated with the final Recoiled rules. But man, I spelled Ruslter...err, Rustler, wrong that many times. Guess copy and paste is a demon to watch out for!

Western RPG. Original edition was very cool and flavorful, based on SRD 3.0 rules. New edition promises to be even cooler, and based on D20M rules.

Since I have been involved in both incarnations, I think it's safe to say that I think Recoiled blows away the original Sidewinder. If you liked the original, you are sure to love Recoiled.

Fair enough. :)

Looks like you guys fiddled with history a little bit (civil war ends with each side acknowledging the sovereignty of the other) ... Being a Southerner.... I approve. :)

Ya know, you're the first one to bring up that little change in history...bravo. It is a little change for a possible future product that is brewing. Of course originally being from the south, as I am as well, doesn't hurt.

Well, I thought I would post this here as well since we have some activity going...

As things are getting pretty close to the end, the Dog House Gang has decided to give you three previews for the price of one. For your viewing pleasure, and to hold you off for the next week or so, we present Chapter 8 - The Trail, Chapter 9 - The Corral, and Chapter 10 - The Bunkhouse.

As always, take a look at the Sidewinder: Recoiled page and let us know what you think.

LOL! Once an editor, always an editor. ;) As the Senior Editor for DHR, I must of course assure you folks that the editing of Snakebite I is NOT an example of the editing on Sidewinder: Recoiled. That particular tidbit was put out before I hooked up with the Gang. Since then we have all learned how to use the spell check function, repeatedly. As a matter of fact, one of the primary reasons that S:R has been repeatedly delayed is that we have been doing our darndest to put out the best edited product possible. Just ask our layout/graphics department! ;)

Ok, that one did sneak by me. Sounds like you've been reading Harry Turtledove, or something.
