Across this world's four eras,
children of heroes!
1st era (bronze age):
Empire expands
Not so different from Rome
More like Germans though!
2nd era (-D&D- middle ages):
Continental State
Rules over ev'rybody
City-states are bad!
A Sea is vital
Around it many cities
Lots of monsters too.
3rd Era (Industrial Era):
Join our Major war
We want lots of colonies
Imperialism's late.
We made people mad
They all declared war on us
We have tanks; they don't!
4th Era (-d20 Modern- Modern Era):
We rule half the World
And use +5 machine guns
to kill lots of orcs.
From my multi-era magic+technology homebrew, with a German culture twist on the Western-european style of D&D. Currently working on the World's Oriental Continent, which is the only place where cities free of the Empire's boot remain by the Modern Era.
