Silven Publishing is pleased to announce that the Silven Trumpeter will again be a free publication. From 2003-2005, the Trumpeter was the largest free gaming magazine on the internet. It is our hope that it will again be a great source of knowledge, entertainment, and advice for all readers. We are planning to increase production of the magazine from its current quarterly release to a bi-monthly schedule. The Trumpeter will continue to publish columns from our regular writers as well as articles from new talent and veterans of the industry. While the Trumpeter will be free, we will not be sacrificing any of its quality. All writers and editors will be compensated for their work, just as they were previously.
The September installment is a massive expose on the RPG industry by way of Gen Con. Our team of 10 Silven members and staff scoured Gen Con, looking for interesting events and insiders to share with our readers. We will also share the industry secrets we've gleaned from the many seminars, interviews, and exhibitions of the convention.
