Greetings, one and all!

Silverthorne Games is proud to announce a new upcoming book penned by the one and only Sean K Reynolds (yes that Sean K Reynolds)! This new book of creative goodness presents over twenty additional creature templates created especially for Silverthorne Games which cannot be found anywhere else! The project, titled Template Troves, Vol. I: Serpents, Spiders, & Godlings, is fully compatible with 3.5 edition rules and will be 100% Open Game Content.

Template Troves, Vol. I: Serpents, Spiders, & Godlings is the first in a series of template compendiums created as support products for the Book of Templates: Deluxe Edition and is scheduled for an early 2004 release (PDF format). A print version is planned for late 2004.

More details to follow!
Cheers!
Ian

Great news.

In many ways, D&D looks like it's going to an almost point buy system where everything can be broken down into levels and eventauully, feats and levels.

To me, that's a good thing. Allows you to build up your monsters and characters exactly as you want them. I can see some issues unless Wizards drops class hit die though and goes with racial hit die based off of your creature type, but for now, I'll sit back and enjoy the ride.

Hell yeah. I've advocated racial HDs and class based bonus HPs per level for a long time. A 5th dwarven wizard should have higher hit points than a 5th level pixie fighter, in my opinion.
