Alright. I know everyone's going nuts about 4e right now, and I can totally understand that. I
I have no desire to have my forums swamped by 4e speculation, though. While I may read a few press releases on the subject, and might even talk to a few friends about it, I'm finding it pretty hard to just get too excited about it.
As it stands, though, I can't comment on other people's ideas on the EXISTING system, because if you look at our boards right now, it's all 4e. I've been digging through to find a post to comment on, comment on it, and then - BAM! - it's already been bumped back to page 2.
Not all of us really want to spend our time speculating about the new edition (which is kind of funny, since that what started EN World!) Some of us use this as a place to discuss the games we're currently playing.
And right now, the forums just don't work for that. And, unlike the Dragon/Dungeon thing, I think this is going to be happening until May 2008 (or whenever it comes out).
So, my simple request - can we move the 4e speculations to a new forum? Or maybe even move the 3.5 comments to a forum of their own?
Can we please segregate the gamers?
