Six-word stories

This was pulled off a bulletin on myspace:

Legend has it that Ernest Hemingway was once challenged to write a story in only six words.

The result was, "For sale: baby shoes, never used."

I think this was done before, but I'm too lazy to dig up the thread, and I want to start a new thread. Plus, my story will be the first one you read, so there.

Anyway, everyone, let's come up with six word stories. They may be fantasy, they could be other things, but they must be six words. I will start us off.

"The dragon slain, he rested eternally."

Four I wrote after the article came out in Wired:

The debunkers were wrong. I live.

No good came from arming apes.

If I died, who wrote this?

Turns out, I was just an @$$#o1e.

(The last was redacted to comply with board rules)

My favorite from Wired's article was by Alan Moore: "Machine. Unexpectedly, I’d invented a time"

The sword remained locked in stone.

Sinking, the ring now lost, forever

The blue egg cracked. Great, omlets!

With a fizz, baby Harry vanished

...am I doing these right? :p

"Maligant's phylactery well hidden, unlife eternal"

"Drowbane; Darkelf, Slayer of Drow... R.I.P."

"Blake Merriday, Cowardly assassin; Bhaal's son"

"Angsty Drow; Twin Scimitars... cult classic"
